Scouts BSA
BSA Troop 9 (209) newton
“Once a scout, always a scout”
-Robert Baden-Powell, founder of the world-wide Scout Movement
Troop 209 Newton is a Linked Troop made up of a Troop for Girls (209G) and a Troop for Boys (209B) sharing a common Troop Committee with decades of experience. Both Troops have a strong O.A. presence and are motivated to help the community while enjoying a broad range of outdoor activities. We promote strong moral character, develop youth leadership and instill confidence while allowing Scouts to work at their own pace. We are proud to exceed the national average for Scouts attaining the Eagle Scout rank. We have a relaxed attendance policy and are very proud of our diverse group of Scouts. Troop 9 is a fully inclusive Scout Troop, meaning we believe in equality for all. So no matter your religion, ethnicity or LGBTQ status, we welcome you!
